The same here, Yesterday I had the wind data, not today....
The same result on PC and Ipad

Version 3.1.1.0 on PC and previous app (the one b4 3.3.0) on the ipad

I have the same problem today, but I'm pretty sure that's a different problem than the one I reported above (which I can confirm was fixed in 3.3).

During the last four or five days, I've experienced major problems getting wind forecast data into SkyDemon. Most of the time SkyDemon says that "Wind forecasts are not available for the complete journey" and does not present any wind data.

I'm pretty sure this is not a client problem because

- Occasionally I do get wind data for a small part of the route, but not the whole route.
- Other server functions like the route cloud storage is working.
- I get the same problem when using different computers/tablets.

I've tried this with SkyDemon 3.2.1.0 on PC and Android devices.

For Android and PC, definitely. I don't recall whether we'd shipped 3.3 off to Apple for approval before or after fixing the bug though.

BTW: Will the fix make it into 3.3.0?

The joys of supporting multi-sector routes.

I can imagine. But it's a great feature, so thanks for doing it!

Thanks, that was helpful. It turned out to be quite an obscure bug relating to how we schedule forecast data download. The joys of supporting multi-sector routes.

You should expect forecast data to be loaded for the current sector. If you haven't set other sectors as the current sector, they will not have data loaded. If they don't have a takeoff time set though, SkyDemon will assume that "now" is the takeoff time, so if you were to immediately activate another sector then the forecast for "now" would already be loaded.
I've always been referring to the current sector, as SkyDemon doesn't display route data in the Route Plan for any other sector.

Anyway, it appears that I can now consistently reproduce the problem! The zip file at this link: http://user.it.uu.se/~lhe/flyg/Windproblem.zip contains two flight plans and some screen shots.

After first loading the flight plan "ESTA-ESKC", the situation is as in Screenshot 1. Everything is ok.

Then I load the flight plan "EDNY-EDDV-ESTA-ESKC" (with intermediate landings in EDDV and ESTA), the result is as in Screenshot 2. The last sector (ESTA-ESKC) is current. Note that all the wind information on the map has disappeared and that only the last leg in the Route Plan has wind info. In Screenshot 3, I've selected the middle sector (EDDV-ESTA), again there is only partial wind information. In Screenshot 4, I've selected the first sector (EDNY-EDDV) which does have complete wind info in the Route Plan, but there is still no wind info on the map.

I agree it might be a different issue.

It doesn't - I am online the whole time.

But are you saying that if I have a multi-sector route, I shouldn't expect any wind forecasts for other than the first sector unless I set a particular takeoff time for the later sectors? If that is the case, how come I get partial wind information for later sectors?

Anyway, in the past this has happened even with the takeoff time set. But that might be a different issue?
